When your motorhome journey is coming to an end, you can choose how you want to handle the cleaning before returning the vehicle. You can either book our additional interior cleaning service or carry out the cleaning yourself.
If you choose our cleaning service, we will take care of the entire interior cleaning for you. For SEK 2,500, we clean floors, tables, the kitchen, cabinets, seating areas, and other surfaces so that the motorhome is fresh and ready for the next adventure. It is a convenient option for those who want to end their trip without extra work.
If you prefer to clean the vehicle yourself, that is of course also possible. The motorhome must then be returned in the same clean and well-maintained condition as when it was handed over. This means that you are responsible for vacuuming, mopping, emptying the trash, and cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, storage areas, and all other interior surfaces.
Additional Service – Interior Cleaning
1. About the Service
HS Fritidsliv AB offers the additional service “Interior Cleaning” for customers who want to make the return of the motorhome easier and more convenient. The service helps save time and ensures that the vehicle is returned in a clean and fresh condition for the next rental. By booking the service, the customer accepts the terms and conditions below, which serve as a supplement to our standard rental terms.
2. Price of the Service
The price for interior cleaning is SEK 2,500 including VAT. Payment is made either directly at the time of booking or when the service is added later during the booking process. The price applies to current bookings but may be changed for future rentals.
3. What Is Included in the Interior Cleaning Service
The service includes cleaning of the motorhome’s interior areas and covers, among other things:
- Cleaning and wiping down the kitchen and bathroom.
- Cleaning the sink, stove, washbasin, and shower.
- Vacuuming and wet mopping of floors.
- Emptying trash and cleaning waste bins.
- Cleaning tables, cabinets, seating areas, and fixed surfaces.
- General freshening up of the interior.
Important Information
Emptying and cleaning of the toilet cassette and grey water tank are not included in the service. This is always the customer’s responsibility and must be completed before returning the vehicle. If this is not done, additional fees will apply according to the current price list.
4. Customer Responsibility Without the Cleaning Service
If the customer chooses not to book the interior cleaning service, the motorhome must be returned thoroughly cleaned and in the same condition as when it was handed over. If the vehicle is not properly cleaned, HS Fritidsliv AB reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning fee.
5. How the Service Is Booked
Interior cleaning can be booked directly at the time of rental or added later. To guarantee the service, the booking must be made no later than 48 hours before the vehicle is returned. The service can be booked by phone, email, or online.
6. Cancellation of the Service
The service can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before the return time. After this deadline, cancellation is no longer possible.
7. Refunds
Once the service has been purchased, no refund will be issued, even if the customer chooses to clean the motorhome themselves before returning it or returns the vehicle earlier than planned.
8. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
HS Fritidsliv AB may update or change these terms and conditions when necessary. Any changes apply only to future bookings and will not affect agreements that have already been completed.
Self-Cleaning of the Motorhome
1. Information About Self-Cleaning
These terms and conditions apply to customers who choose to clean their rented motorhome themselves before returning it to HS Fritidsliv AB. The terms supplement our standard rental conditions and describe the customer’s responsibilities when the additional service “Interior Cleaning” has not been booked.
2. Cost of Self-Cleaning
If the motorhome is returned properly cleaned according to our requirements, no additional fee will be charged. However, in the case of insufficient or incomplete cleaning, a fee will be charged according to the current price list.
3. What the Customer Is Responsible for Cleaning
For the cleaning to be approved, the following areas must be cleaned thoroughly:
Kitchen and bathroom.
- Clean and wipe down all surfaces.
- Wash the sink, stove, washbasin, and shower area.
Floors and textiles.
- Vacuum carpets and seating areas.
- Wet mop all hard floors.
Trash and storage areas.
- Empty all waste bins.
- Insert new trash bags.
- Clean waste bins and storage compartments.
Furniture and interior fittings.
- Wipe down tables, cabinets, walls, and other surfaces.
- Remove dirt, stains, and personal belongings.
Odors and ventilation.
- The motorhome must be well ventilated and free from bad odors when returned.
Important Things to Keep in Mind
The customer is also responsible for emptying and cleaning the toilet cassette and the grey water tank. If this has not been done, additional fees will apply.
4. Cleaning Equipment and Cleaning Products
The customer is responsible for using the correct cleaning products and equipment. Only products suitable for motorhomes should be used to avoid damage to the interior. Any damage caused by improper cleaning will be charged to the customer.
5. Inspection Upon Return
When the motorhome is returned, our staff will carry out an inspection of the cleaning. If everything has been completed correctly, no additional charges will apply. Any deficiencies will be documented and may result in extra fees.
6. If the Cleaning Is Not Approved
If the motorhome is not cleaned sufficiently, a post-cleaning fee will be charged according to the current price list, currently SEK 2,500 including VAT. In cases of excessive dirt or contamination, additional sanitation fees may apply.
7. Possibility to Book the Cleaning Service Afterwards
If you later choose to add interior cleaning, this can be done up to 48 hours before the return time, subject to availability. Booking can be made by phone, email, or online.
8. Customer Responsibility
HS Fritidsliv AB is not responsible for the time or costs the customer spends on self-cleaning. The customer is solely responsible for setting aside sufficient time before returning the vehicle.
9. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
HS Fritidsliv AB reserves the right to update or change these terms and conditions when necessary. Any changes will not affect bookings or agreements that have already been confirmed.
